You can eat tortillas soft, crisp, flat, rolled, sliced, big, small, filled with savory goodness or sweet treats... Tacos are crisp, filled tortillas; enchiladas are soft, rolled and filled tortillas which are then baked in the oven; chilaquiles are thin fried strips of tortilla covered with a sauce and baked in the oven; and quesadillas are tortillas filled, folded, and then baked on a stone in the oven.

You can use Tumaro’s tortillas for any occasion – parties, gatherings, family meals, lunch boxes... It is so simple to transform basic ingredients into quick gourmet meals or snacks. Bend them, twist them, roll them, fill them...

There’s really no limit to the ways you can use them. Check out our recipes in the above drop-down menu above for some great ideas. Or, email us for a free recipe booklet!

Tortilla Handling and Preparation
We recommend that you store tortillas in the refrigerator and let the tortillas warm up to room temperature prior to recipe preparation. Occasionally, tortillas may stick together, so we suggest bending the package back and forth to loosen them. This process should help with tortilla separation. Tortillas can be warmed up on a grill or stove top. Use of a microwave is not recommended. However, should you choose to use a microwave, be sure to place a moist paper towel around the tortillas and set a timer for no more than 30 seconds.
