Yes, it is okay to freeze wraps. Freezing wraps is an excellent method to prolong their shelf life. If the package is unopened, it can be conveniently stored in the freezer for up to 1 year.

To prevent freezer burn, it’s essential to tightly seal the wraps in their original packaging before freezing them.

We recommend that you let them thaw 6-12 hours in the refrigerator before use. Wraps should not be thawed in the microwave to preserve texture.

You can store them at room temperature or freeze them. We do not recommend storing them in the refrigerator.

Tumaro’s products do not need to be heated but there are many ways to do so if you choose! See below for suggestions:

Microwave: Wraps may be wrapped in a moist paper towel and heated in a microwave for 20 seconds.

Stovetop: Heat wraps individually in a skillet or pan for 10-15 seconds on each side to warm and soften.

Oven: Wrap in foil. Heat at 300 degrees for 3 minutes.

Our products have a shelf life of up to 100 days at room temperature.  We do not advise storing them in the refrigerator.

If you choose to freeze the wraps, they can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 year.

Many of our products contain soy and wheat. Our Gluten Free Wraps are tested for wheat content before they leave our bakery, however, they do contain soy.

While no Tumaro’s products contain fresh milk or eggs we do process milk and eggs in our facility. We take significant precautions to avoid cross-contamination, such as storing allergens separately and intensely sanitizing our equipment after processing an allergen.

Yes, Tumaro’s wraps are “keto friendly” per Keto dietary guidelines and great substitutes for traditional sliced bread.

These guidelines recommend staying between 15 – 30g of net carbohydrates per day, or 5-10% of total calories.

Tumaro’s Wraps fall between 6g-8g of net carbohydrates per serving which has been cited by many consumers to be a great bread alternative.

Yes, all Tumaro’s wraps are vegan except for the Wheat Tortilla and the Honey Wheat Tortilla which are considered vegetarian due to having honey as an ingredient.

Tumaro’s does not use any animal-based ingredients or by-products such as gelatins derived from meat, fish, eggs, seafood, or dairy to make our wraps.
