Serving Size:

4

COOK time: 25 min

Ingredients

4 Tumaro’s Honey Wheat Wraps, quartered

2-3 tbsp melted coconut oil or butter

¼ cup sugar

2 tsp cinnamon

Whipped cream

Apple Pie Filling:

4 large Granny Smith apples, diced

3 tbsp butter or coconut oil

1 tbsp sugar (or sugar substitute)

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Slice wraps into 4 even-sized quarters. In a small bowl, stir together the cinnamon and sugar.
  3. Brush both sides of the wraps with butter, then sprinkle lightly with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. Take two quarters of the wraps and stack together (pointed ends facing each other) and place in the muffin tin. It should cover the bottom and sides of tin. Repeat with remaining wraps.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Meanwhile, add apples, butter, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice to a pot over medium heat. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring often, for 5-7 minutes, until the apples are for tender and thickened.
  7. Once baked, fill each wrap cup with apple pie filling. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon for serving.
