Ingredients


3 Tumaro’s Carb Wise Multigrain Wraps

1lb steak (flank, skirt, or sirloin)

½ cup red onion, diced

1 lime, cut into wedges

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil, for cooking

Chimichurri Sauce

1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

3 cloves of garlic, minced

2 tbsp red wine vinegar

½ cup olive oil

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions


  1. Make the chimichurri: Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the steak: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook steak for 3-5 minutes per side, or until cooked until your desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
  5. Assemble the tacos: Divide steak among wraps. Top with diced red onion, a drizzle of chimichurri sauce, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
  6. Wrap and serve!

Pro tip: Let the chimichurri sauce sit for 10 minutes, it gets more flavorful with time!
